Company Story

Southern Safety Supply began in 1965 as Segler Refrigeration, but soon began selling safety equipment. In the 1980s, Clara and John Webb bought the business and ran the company until 2002, when it was sold to Jim and Barbara Jones.

Since 2002, Jim and Barbara diversified products to include safety footwear, portable barricade systems, occupational safety training software, and gas detectors.

In 2006, Southern Safety Supply expanded its reach and inventory when we acquired Hall Safety Supply of Macon.

Among our technicians, sales associates, and management team, we have well over 70 combined years of technical experience. Our technicians receive certification and training required by the State of Georgia Fire Marshal’s Office and MSHA.
